There are few tango couples that have a unique chemistry similar to that of Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda. This is a couple that has been dancing close to two decades now. I am fascinated by their style of tango which I define as ‘unrushed’ and refined. Juana is an exceptionally elegant dancer led by a very talented partner: Chicho Frumboli. Chicho is seen as one of the great renovators of tango and their style is defined as ‘poetry in motion’ by critics. As Martha Graham said ‘great dancers are not great because of their technique but their passion and this unique couple is a wonderful example of this!

It is a delight to see this couple time and again in İstanbul. İstabul tango lovers had the chance of watching the couple again in 2024 as a part of the annual tanGO TO İstanbul Festival.
