Faruk Malhan is an architect, a designer and the creator of the brand Koleksiyon. He has an interdisciplinary background. After studying architecture at the Middle Eastern Technical University, he studied design with the leading Bauhaus designer Fritz Janneba, He took courses on sociology, history, economics and philosophy from leading academics in Turkey. He has been keen on developing a design philosophy based on cultural context and heritage. He is a pioneer in intertwining design with a conceptual framework.
