Art needs patrons and ecosystems to flourish and İstanbul is a rather challenging ‘milieu’ for contemporary artists who want to produce and display their works of art. Pilevneli Gallery feels like a breath of fresh air in İstanbul as it enables contemporary artists and art lovers to meet.
It has two unique locations that deserve to be visited. One is in Dolapdere and the other is in Mecidiyeköy. Both projects have been undertaken by the renowned architect Emre Arolat who has created miracles in both locations.

The Gallery in Dolapdere has hosted exhibitions of the leading Turkish artist Refik Anadol throughout the years. Check out these outstanding exhibitions that took place in Pilevneli Gallery in 2018 and 2019.
The other and the relatively newer location is in Mecidiyeköy. It was an old liqueur and cognac factory that was turned into an Exhibition Hall by Emre Arolat.
