Tango masters Muharrem Yılmazkaya and Nilay Akgün
Muharrem, with a background in theater and music, and Nilay, originally trained as a geological engineer, both discovered tango through different paths before coming together as partners in 2014. Since then, they have performed and taught extensively. In 2021, they founded Tango La Vida İstanbul, their own school dedicated to teaching, performing, and organizing events, overlooking the historical peninsula in Kadıköy. Its location is central, its view is fantastic and its venue is spacious!
