Zeynep Tanbay
I have always been fascinated by modern dance. Modern dance started flourishing in late 80s and early 90s and have gained more popularity among İstanbulites in the last decade. There is a very talented female dancer who deserves a big applause for being one of the pioneers of modern dance in the country with her modern dance project established in İstanbul. Her name is Zeynep Tanbay. Her Zeynep Tanbay Dance Project has produced remarkable performances throughout the years. She has always been an active member of the cultural scene in İstanbul and she is currently in the advisory board for art to the İstanbul Municipality.
