What you see above is Military Barracks from the Ottoman Era but now this giant complex has been turned into a library with a capacity that can accommodate up to 4200 people and hosts more than two million books and digital material.

The building dates back to 1828 and had been beautifully adapted to a library project by Emre Arolat’s workshop. The library has 51000 m2 green space which the visitors can enjoy in spring and summer.
The library is open 7/24 for 7 days a week and is a perfect space for students and book lovers so don’t miss it!
