İstanbul hosts a range of high end restaurants that overpromise and are overpriced. There is definitely an irony here as there is a significant number of more humble restaurants that offer a better experience compared to these ‘shiny’ locations for more reasonable prices. But there are also restaurants that deliver what they promise and Cecconi’s (which is in fact an Italian Restaurant) is one of them. I have had a chance to experience a Sunday brunch at Cecceoni’s and I was really impressed not only by the variety but also of the taste of its dishes.
I would highly recommend you to go for a brunch at Cecconi’s but make sure to reserve a table in the green house area as the restaurant itself can be a bit dark and too packed for a brunch.

Cecconi’s is inside the garden of a fascinating building which was built as Palazzo Corpi but which served as the American Consulate for decades.

I also appreciated the service quality which should not be taken for granted as not all premium restaurants deliver the service quality you would expect.
I hope you enjoy your sunday brunch as much as I did!
